serial works

This gallery showcases a collection of works that evolve from an idea or concept and are united as a series. These works emerge from an intensive exploration of forms, structures, and processes.

The starting point of this kind of creative process was the „Foldings 1“ series, in which I explored the multiple variations of a simple geometric principle. Since then, I have developed further conceptual series, such as „Tiles“ , „Bags“and „Instructionals“. This gallery is a dynamic space where my artistic exploration of series and concepts is continually evolving. From the complex foldings to the modular tiles and the playful instructions, a rich variety of conceptual approaches can be found here.

foldings

The „Foldings“ series is a journey through the infinite possibilities hidden within a square. By systematically dividing and manipulating its perimeter, I create a diverse array of patterns that unfold before the viewer’s eyes.

Each composition adheres to a strict set of rules, yet the results are endlessly varied. The series is a testament to the generative power of a simple shape.

tiles

A classic painting is typically a static entity, created by the artist. By dividing and rearranging paintings, the tiles – series invites the viewer to become an active participant in the artwork. Each new arrangement raises questions, like how does our perception change when we reassemble a work again and again? What aesthetic choices do we make in the process?

This series is an exploration of the nature of the painting / image and the role of the viewer. A simple geometric element, through deconstruction and reconstruction, becomes an inexhaustible reservoir of forms, shapes and meanings. This series challenges our traditional understanding of a painting as a fixed object.
